A total of 61,160 shares worth about $232,083 traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) today.

Insurance firm Argus Group went up 17 cents (4.5 per cent) after 55,349 shares traded to end the day at $3.98.

The Bank of Butterfield was down nine cents (4.6 per cent) at $1.86 after 5,211 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 36.38 points (2.78 per cent) at 1,271.26.

The BSX Insurance Index fell 15.31 points (0.92 per cent) to 1,648.01.
