Ascendant shares fall 1%

A total of 1,400 shares worth $13,396 traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange today.
Utilities firm Ascendant Group dropped five cents (1 per cent) after 600 shares traded.
Insurance company BF&M also fell, down 14 cents (0.8 per cent) after 600 shares moved.
The Bank of Butterfield was unchanged at $2 after 200 shares changed hands.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index ended the day down 1.52 points (0.11 per cent) at 1,332.94.
The BSX Insurance Index closed up six points (0.37 per cent) at 1,629.84.
