A total of 250,786 shares, worth about $537,294, traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX.

Telecoms company KeyTech was up 36 cents, or 10.2 per cent, at $3.90 after 25,767 shares changed hands.

The Bank of Butterfield saw 202,586 shares move, leaving its price unchanged at $1.65.

Utilities firm Ascendant Group was also unchanged at $4.40 after 22,000 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX closed up 4.85 points, or 0.41 per cent, at 1,177.21.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 2.05 points, or 0.12 per cent, at 1,692.63.
