BF&M shares slip 1.4%

Trading day: shares of Butterfield and BF&M moved in opposite directions on the Bermuda Stock Exchange
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index today closed up 2.54 points, or 0.22 per cent, at 1,176.63.
Bank of Butterfield was up 1 cent, or 0.6 per cent, at $1.65 after 2,500 shares changed hands.
Insurance company BF&M dropped 25 cents, or 1.44 per cent, to $17 after 578 shares sold.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 0.48 points, or 0.03 per cent, at 1,617.41.
