The Royal Gazette/BSX Index today closed down 5.9 points, or 0.5 per cent, at 1,170.74.

The Bank of Butterfield was down 1 cent, or 0.6 per cent, at $1.64 after 60,235 shares sold.

Telecoms firm KeyTech fell 11 cents, or 3 per cent, to $3.50 after 4,800 shares changed hands.

And insurance company Argus was unchanged at $3.95 after 13 shares moved.

The BSX Insurance Index closed up 15.32 points, or 0.95 per cent, at 1,632.73.
