Butterfield Bank shares fell nearly 3 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.

The bank slipped 5 cents, to $1.65 on the trading of 16,460 shares.

The only other domestic-board company to trade was insurer BF&M Ltd, which remained unchanged on $17.10, as 15,000 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 22.49 points, or 1.84 per cent, to close the day on 1,202.79.

Volume totalled 31,460 shares and turnover was $283,659.
