Insurance firm Argus rose 15 cents, or 3.8 per cent, on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The move came after 1,500 Argus shares changed hands in the sole trading of the day.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up three points, or 0.25 per cent, at 1,206.75.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 4.09 points, or 0.25 per cent, at 1,647.80.
