Shares of insurance group BF&M rose 10 cents, or 0.6 per cent, to $17.25, after 200 were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Fellow insurer Argus dropped one cent, or 0.2 per cent, to $4.04 after 45,122 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 0.57 points, or 0.04 per cent, at 1,348.16.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 1.75 points, or 0.1 per cent, at 1,701.58.
