Butterfield shares rise 2.1%

The Bank of Butterfield went up on both the Bermuda and New York Stock Exchanges.
The bank rose 50 cents, or 2.1 per cent, to $24.50 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index after 6,300 shares traded.
Butterfield hit $25.03, up 26 cents, or 1.05 per cent, on the New York Stock Exchange.
Back in Bermuda, insurance company Argus rose five cents, or 1.3 per cent, to $4.05 after 5,484 shares sold.
Telecoms firm KeyTech dropped 35 cents, or 11.7 per cent, to $2.65 after 1,100 shares changed hands.
Utilities company Ascendant was unchanged at $6.20 after 53,480 shares moved.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 13.69 points, or 0.88 per cent, at 1578.41.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 11.40 points, or 0.69 per cent, at 1647.89.
