The Bank of Butterfield today closed down 5 cents at $25.05 in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.

The move, equal to 0.2 per cent, came after 14,200 shares traded.

The bank’s price on the New York Stock Exchange also fell — down 15 cents, or 0.59 per cent, to $25.45.

Bermuda Aviation Services was unchanged at $3.25 after 1,500 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 2.25 points or 0.14 per cent at 1,607.49.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 10.62 points or 0.63 per cent at 1,661.51.
