The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged at 1,791.65 after a day of no trading.

But the biggest BSX domestic-board issuer Butterfield Bank yesterday rose 25 cents, or 0.84 per cent, to $30.06 on the New York Stock Exchange.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 9.12 points, or 0.52 per cent, at 1,764.54.
