Shares of Butterfield Bank rose $1 to $32 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index
The Bank of Butterfield went up $1 to $32 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
The rise, equal to 3.2 per cent, came after 2,624 shares traded.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank dropped 26 cents, or 0.79 per cent, to $32.50.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 44.98 points, or 2.35 per cent, at 1,962.50.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 2.59 points, or 0.15 per cent, at 1,782.48.
