Share of KeyTech slipped by 14 cents, or 4.8 per cent, to close at $2.80 after 1,800 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

There was also trading in Butterfield Bank shares, with 1,593 changing hands but without affecting the closing price of $31.50. On the New York Stock Exchange the bank’s shares fell by 42 cents, or 1.31 per cent, to $31.68.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 1.92 points, or 0.1 per cent, at 1,937.96.

The BSX Insurance Index edged up 0.74 points, or 0.04 per cent, to 1,764.27.
