The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged at 1,937.96.

The sole trading of the day was in Bank of Butterfield, which was unchanged at $31.50 after 3,325 shares traded.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank was up 54 cents, or 1.70 per cent, at $32.22.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 14.13 point, s or 0.80 per cent, at 1,778.40.
