Butterfield leads BSX higher

The Bank of Butterfield today rose 35 cents to $33.50 in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.
The change, equal to 1.1 per cent, came after 5,444 shares traded.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank was down 18 cents or 0.53 per cent at $33.90.
Watlington Waterworks rose 20 cents, or 1 per cent, to $20.50 after 431 shares sold.
Insurance group Argus was unchanged at $4.55 after 1,008 shares changed hands.
The sale of five shares left utilities firm Ascendant unchanged at $7.20.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 15.94 points, or 0.79 per cent, at 2,023.60.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 2.12 points, or 0.11 per cent, at 1,845.24.
