Shares of insurance firm BF&M today dropped 35 cents to $20.60 in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.

The 1.7 per cent fall came as 300 shares traded.

Butterfield Bank did not trade, but on the New York Stock Exchange, the bank’s shares were down 29 cents, or 0.84 per cent, at $34.03.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 2.68 points, or 0.13 per cent, at 2,037.52.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 0.88 points, or 0.05 per cent, at 1,855.29.
