Investment holding company Somers Ltd dropped 50 cents to $13.25 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The fall, equal to 3.6 per cent, came after 200 shares traded.

Telecoms firm One Communications remained at $2.50 after 21,700 shares traded.

And the Bank of Butterfield was also static at $33.75 after 60 shares sold.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank shed 24 cents, or 0.71 per cent, to close at $33.47.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 3.3 points, or 0.16 per cent, at 2,034.19.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 1.94 points, or 0.10 per cent, at 1,857.23.
