Butterfield shares fall 2.6%

Bank of Butterfield shares today dropped 80 cents to $30.20 in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.
The 2.6 per cent fall came as 6,080 shares traded.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank was up 1 cent or 0.03 per cent to $30.37.
Insurance firm Argus rose 25 cents, or 5.6 per cent, to $4.75 after 6,000 shares moved.
Bermuda Press (Holdings), the parent company of The Royal Gazette, shed 49 cents, or 5.4 per cent, to $8.51 after 1,879 shares changed hands.
Utilities firm Ascendant was unchanged at $7.50 after 110 shares changed hands.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 31.62 points, or 1.65 per cent, at 1,883.88.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 16.55 points, or 0.9 per cent, at 1,852.95.
