Telecoms firm One Communications went up 15 cents to $2.75 on The Royal Gazette/BSX.

The rise, equal to 5.8 per cent, came after 5,600 shares traded.

The Bank of Butterfield remained at $31.50 after 50 shares changed hands.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank dropped six cents, or 0.19 per cent, to $31.65.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 2.06 points, or 0.11 per cent, at 1,936.54.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 0.63 points, or 0.03 per cent, at 1,853.33.
