There were no trades on the Royal Gazette/BSX Index, which remained unchanged at 1,972.56.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank moved 15 cents higher, or 0.37 per cent, to $32.59.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 3.77 points, or 10.2 per cent, at 1,880.38.
