Ascendant hits 52-week high

Ascendant Group Ltd was the only stock to rise in thin trading on the Bermuda Stock Exchange last week.
Ascendant, owner of power utility Belco, climbed 25 cents to a 52-week high of $9.25 as 1,400 shares changed hands.
Telecoms group One Communications Ltd saw 1,100 shares traded, but remained unchanged on $2.60.
The only other stocks to trade were Somers Ltd (176 shares) and BF&M Ltd (29 shares), both of which remained unchanged.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index rose 2.41 points, or 0.12 per cent over the five days of trading, to close on 1,982.79. In total, 2,705 shares were traded and turnover was $17,905.
