Shares worth almost $1 million were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, but only one stock moved during the day.

Argus Group was up 10 cents, or 2.6 per cent, to $3.95 after 500 shares changed hands.

There was trading of 1,100 shares of BF&M Ltd, but with no change to the stock’s closing price.

And 24,900 shares of Butterfield Bank changed hands, but with no impact on the closing price of $37.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank’s shares were down 27 cents, or 0.72 per cent, to $37.37.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up two points, or 0.09 per cent, at 2,188.35.

The BSX Insurance Index was 12,81 points, or 0.68 per cent higher, at 1,896.49.
