Shares of Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd, publisher of The Royal Gazette, improved by four cents, or 0.7 per cent, to $6.15 after 338 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

There was also trading in 31 shares of Butterfield Bank, but with no change to the closing price of $39. The bank’s shares on the New York Stock Exchange were down $1.25, or 3.16 per cent, at $38.27.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 0.05 of a point at 2,269.55. The BSX Insurance Index was down 56.08 points, or 2.98 per cent, at 1,825.47.
