Shares of Argus Group closed 67 cents lower, or 17.1 per cent, at $3.25 after 1,700 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index. Meanwhile, shares of HSBC Holdings improved by five cents, or 0.51 per cent, to $9.70 after 14,006 were exchanged.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 13.39 points, or 0.52 per cent, at 2,576.17.

On the New York Stock Exchange the shares of Butterfield Bank were down 16 cents, or 0.34 per cent, at $46.30.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 11.87 points, 0r 0.62 per cent, at 1,927.99.
