One Communications Ltd were up 64 cents, or 29.6 per cent, to $2.80 after 600 were exchanged on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

BF&M Ltd shares improved by 20 cents, or 1.2 per cent, to $16.80 after 1,500 traded, while shares of Somers Limited were down 55 cents, or 3.7 per cent, after 1,500 changed hands.

There was also trading in 20 Government of Bermuda 4.75 per cent notes, with no change to the closing price of $98.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 6.66 points, or 0.25 per cent, at 2,650.81.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were up 72 cents, or 1.51 per cent, at $48.40.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 24.36 points, or 1.32 per cent, at 1,815.37.
