Shares of One Communications Ltd improved by eight cents, or 2.9 per cent, to $2.88 after 10,479 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Also improving was Butterfield Bank, up 20 cents, or 0.4 per cent, to $48.20 after 673 shares changed hands.

Argus Group Holdings lost five cents, or 1.3 per cent, to close at $3.85 after 8.500 shares were exchanged, while BF&M Ltd was down 20 cents, or 1.2 per cent, at $16.60 after 4,600 changed hands.

Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd was down 20 cents, or 9.1 per cent, to $2 after 12,100 shares changed hands. There was also trading in 1,800 shares of HSBC Holdings, which closed at $9.55.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 6.63 points, or 0.25 per cent, at 2,679.92.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were down 30 cents, or 0.61 per cent, at $48.76.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 21.38 points, or 1.18 per cent, at 1,836.75.
