Five stocks traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange, but none changed value.

A string of small trades was topped in value terms by the 40 shares traded in Butterfield Bank, which remained on $47.75. In New York, the bank’s US-listed shares fell 40 cents, or 0.8 per cent, to close on $47.90.

Argus Group Holdings Ltd saw 60 shares trade, while 50 shares of Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd changed hands, 20 shares in Ascendant Group Ltd and 24 shares of Watlington Waterworks Ltd.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 2,677.82. For the week, the index fell 36.01 points, or 1.34 per cent.

The BSX Insurance Index shed 4.8 points, or 0.26 per cent, to close on 1,845.32.
