Shares of BF&M Ltd were up 99 cents, or 5.8 per cent, at $17.99 after 4,500 were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

There was also trading in 15,045 shares of Ascendant Group Limited, but with no change to the closing price of $15, while 2,500 shares of Argus Group Holdings Ltd were exchanged, without affecting the closing price of $3.92.

The Royal Gazette/BSX index was up 7.58 points, or 0.28 per cent, at 2,752.52.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were down 87 cents, or 1.8 per cent, at $47.46.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 18 points, or 0.94 per cent, at 1,906.01.
