Shares of BF&M Ltd improved by six cents, or 0.4 per cent, to $17.16 after 300 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

HSBC Holdings were up 35 cents, or 3.66 per cent, at $9.90, after 3,900 shares were exchanged, while 5,900 shares of Argus Group Holdings also changed hands, but with no change to the closing price of $3.99.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were up 16 cents, or 0.33 per cent, at $47.97.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 0.46 of a point, or 0.02 per cent, at 2,729.84.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 5.81 points, or 0.32 per cent, at 1,828.79.

In a filing with the Bermuda Stock Exchange, One Communications Ltd said it repurchased 21,000 of its common shares, at an average price of $2.83. for immediate cancellation during May. This was done pursuant to its share repurchase programme.
