Meanwhile, on the New York Stock Exchange shares of Butterfield Bank were up three cents, or 0.06 per cent, at $47.04

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 1.91 points, or 0.07 per cent, at 2,717.8. The BSX Insurance Index was down 9.85 points, or 0.55 per cent, at 1,775.43.
