A total of 2,500 shares of Ascendant Group, parent company of Belco, were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, but with no change to the price of $16.30.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were up 61 cents, or 1.17 per cent, to a new 52-week high of $52.56.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged at 2,886.4, while the BSX Insurance Index was down 0.8 of a point, or 0.04 per cent, at 1,853.69.
