Butterfield gains, Devonshire dips on BSX

Butterfield Bank shares gained 0.3 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.
The bank closed up 15 cents at $52.15 as 1,157 shares changed hands. Butterfield’s US-listed shares fell 23 cents, or 0.4 per cent in New York, to close on $52.61.
Devonshire Industries, owner of Bermuda Paint Company, fell 75 cents, or 15 per cent, to hit a 52-week low share price of $4.25, as 1,000 shares changed hands.
Ascendant Group also had a busy trading day, but remained unchanged on $16.30, as 10,394 shares were traded.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index rose 6.44 points, or 0.2 per cent, to close on 2,930.52.
The BSX Insurance Index gained 0.96 of a point to close on 1,904.78.
