Butterfield Bank shares fell $11.64, or 22.76 per cent, to $39.51 on the New York Stock Exchange, while on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index the bank’s shares were static at $50 after no trading.

Shares of Argus Group Holdings Ltd fell by 53 cents, or 13.5 per cent, after 2,300 changed hands, while BF&M Ltd improved by four cents, or 0.2 per cent, after 930 shares were exchanged.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was 10.29 points lower, or 0.36 per cent, at 2,840.64, while the BSX Insurance Index was 18.01 points down, or 1.21 per cent, at 1,472.18.
