Shares of BF&M Ltd improved by 40 cents, or 2.5 per cent, to $16.50 after 500 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

There was also trading in 1,000 shares of Argus Group Holdings Ltd, but with no change to the closing price of $3.87.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 3.06 points, or 0.13 per cent, at 2,290.71. The BSX Insurance Index was up 3.1 points, or 0.21 per cent, at 1,495.75.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were up 74 cents, or 1.84 per cent, at $41.03.
