The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 1,939.5 after no shares were traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares traded on the New York Stock Exchange, falling four cents, or 0.13 per cent, to close the day on $31.07. Butterfield’s previous trade on the BSX was $30.50.

The BSX Insurance Index rocketed 72.34 points, or 5.17 per cent, to close on 1,472.03.
