Quiet trade: the 800 Somers shares that changed hands represented the only trade on the BSX
Somers Ltd, the financial-services holding company, was the only stock to trade in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.
Somers closed unchanged on $15 as 800 shares changed hands.
In New York, Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares fell 23 cents, or 0.69 per cent, to close on $33.05. The bank last traded on the BSX at $33.10.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 2,129.86.
The BSX Insurance Index fell 8.97 points, or 0.55 per cent, to close on 1,632.24.
