Shares of Argus Group Holdings Ltd improved 20 cents, or 6.7 per cent, to $3.20 after 200 changed hands on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

There was also trading in 1,000 shares of Somers Limited, 2,000 shares of One Communications Ltd, and 100 shares of LOM Financial Ltd, but with no change to the closing prices of those stocks.

In New York, shares of Butterfield Bank were down 14 cents, or 0.53 per cent, at $26.44.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up four points, or 0.21 per cent, at 1,918.37, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 13.77 points, or 0.82 per cent, at 1,690.72.

In separate news, BF&M Limited repurchased 7,033 of its common shares in July, at an average price of $17.45, as part of its share repurchase programme. The shares have been reserved for issuance.
