Argus Group Ltd shares rose 24 cents, or 8.7 per cent, to $3 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index after 3,00 traded.

BF&M Ltd shares were up five cents, or 0.3 per cent, at $18.30 after 1,000 changed hands.

Ascendant Group Ltd shares fell $1.25, or 4 per cent, to $30 after 3,400 traded.

In New York, shares of Butterfield Bank were up 16 cents, or 0.53 per cent, at $30.21.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 6.88 points, or 0.34 per cent, at 2,035.65, while the BSX Insurance Index dropped 3.54 points, or 0.21 per cent, to 1,715.78.
