Shares of BF&M Ltd jumped $1.25, or 6.7 per cent, to $20 after 1,830 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Also moving up was Argus Group Holdings Ltd, improving four cents, or 1.5 per cent, to $2.70 after 2,000 shares changed hands.

There was trading in 113 shares of Butterfield Bank, but with no change to the closing price of $31.10. Meanwhile, in New York, Butterfield’s shares were up $1.20, or 3.75 per cent, at $33.22.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 10.37 points, or 0.5 per cent, at 2,071.92, while the BSX Insurance Index was down 5.02 points, or 0.3 per cent.
