Shares of HSBC Holdings Plc fell 30 cents, or 3.87 per cent, to $7.45 after 178 traded on The royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Meanwhile, in New York, shares of Butterfield Bank were up 43 cents, or 1.29 per cent, at $33.65.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged at 2,071.92, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 10.2 points, or 0.61 per cent, at 1,670.76.
