Shares of HSBC Holdings fell 15 cents, or 2.01 per cent, after 3,837 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Meanwhile, on the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were down seven cents, or 0.21 per cent, at $33.68.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged at 2,226.02, while the BSX insurance Index was down 0.45 points, or 0.03 per cent, at 1,693.17.
