No shares changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange, leaving The Royal Gazette/BSX Index unchanged on 2,291.05.

The US-listed shares of Butterfield Bank edged lower by 25 cents, or 0.71 per cent, to close on $34.82 on the New York Stock Exchange, as 100,452 shares were traded.

Butterfield last traded at $34.69 on the BSX.

The BSX Insurance Exchange gained ground, adding 7.89 points, or 0.46 per cent, to close on 1,706.15.
