Butterfield Bank shares ended seven cents, or 0.2 per cent, lower at $34.88 on The New York Stock Exchange.

There was no trading on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, which was unchanged at 2,262.42, while the BSX Insurance Index was down 1.5 points, or 0.09 per cent, at 1,680.43.
