Shares of Argus Group Holdings Ltd improved 24 cents, or 11.9 per cent, to $2.25 after 25,000 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

In New York, shares of Butterfield Bank were up $1.05, or 6.36 per cent, at $17.56.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 4.8 points, or 0.32 per cent, at 1,503.66, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 36.97 points, or 2.95 per cent, at 1,288.94.
