On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were up 11 cents, or 0.44 per cent, at $25.31.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged at 1,827.9, while the BSX Insurance Index was down 17.88 points, or 1.22 per cent, at 1,447.91.
