Shares of Bermuda Aviation Services improved five cents, or 4.5 per cent, to $1.15 after 5,400 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

There was also trading in 100,000 shares of One Communications Ltd, but with no change to the closing price of $4.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were up 44 cents, or 2.04 per cent, at $21.99.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 0.23 of a point, or 0.01 per cent, at 1,731.67, while the BSX Insurance Index was down 23.64 points, or 1.77 per cent, at 1,312.19.
