Butterfield shares slip 0.8% in New York

No shares traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange as The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 1,987.77.
Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares fell 26 cents, or 0.83 per cent, to close on $31.05 on the New York Stock Exchange on below-average volume of 101,982 shares. The bank last traded at $30.10 on the BSX.
The BSX Insurance Index gained 6.05 points, or 0.38 per cent, to close on 1,592.18.
