Bank shares finish higher on NYSE

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index was unchanged from 2,568.92 after 800 ($29,200) Bank of Butterfield shares traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
The BSX Insurance Index remained unquoted.
The Bank of Butterfield gained eight cents (0.25 per cent) to close at $32.34 on the New York Stock Exchange.
