Bank stock up by more than three per cent on NYSE

The RG/BSX Index rose 1.05 points (0.04 per cent) to close at 2,706.08, after one advance and one decline on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Polaris Holding Company fell 95 cents (10.6 per cent) to close at $8 after 3,000 shares changed hands.
Argus Group Holdings Ltd finished ten cents higher at $6.05 after 17,050 stock traded.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the Bank of Butterfield was up $1.15 (3.20 per cent) to close at $37.05
The BSX Insurance Index was unquoted.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index ticked higher with two issues trading
