RG/BSX Index fell nearly four per cent

The RG/BSX Index plunged 107.28 points (3.96 per cent) to close at 2,598.80 after 4,905 Bank of Butterfield shares traded, with a turnover of $181,485. The issue finished $2 lower (5.1 per cent) at $37.
Meanwhile, on the New York Stock Exchange, Butterfield fell $1.30 (3.49 per cent) to close at $38.58.
The BSX Insurance Index was not quoted.
